My Eyes Become Ears is an experimental drawing workshop designed by DJCAD MFA Drawing students to accompany the exhibition Dream Land by Heather Phillipson. The workshop will embrace the transformational and interactive power of drawing beyond the purely visual. Engaging with drawing in a way that incorporates all of our senses, the workshop invites participants to question the strange ways we move through and interact with the world. How can the process of creating drawing emulate the ways in which all living things move, grow, and transform?
“It’s like my eyes become ears, and my feet also become ears, and maybe my whole body is ears.”
